We partner with Local Authorities and housing associations to provide innovative solutions for affordable housing provision, modernisation and wider regeneration in the communities of greatest need. Our aim is to create sustainable communities where people want to live and work, now and in the future. We want to develop new neighbourhoods that meet the diverse needs of current and future residents - those that are sensitive to the environment and contribute to a high quality of life.
We understand the requirements for delivery of wider regeneration in the context of the constraints faced by our partners and the concerns raised by local residents and community stakeholders. We recognise the importance of communicating and engaging with the local community in a consultative and inclusive manner to integrate their views in our solutions. Together with our partners, we provide safe, well-planned, built-andrun developments which offer equality of opportunity and good services for all.
We work to deliver homes and neighbourhood environments and aim to do so in a socially responsible manner. In partnership with local authorities and community stakeholders, we invest not only to provide affordable accommodation but to deliver wider social and economic benefits through enhanced community participation, local job creation and use of sustainable technologies.
As such, we invest using local labour, training and skill development programmes in those areas where most required, serving to maximise the generation of skills, income and confidence in the local community. Through our investment to create sustainable communities, we continuously target the consumption of energy and water and reduce the volume of waste produced. We continually strive to make a positive contribution to long-term environmental sustainability.
Engaging the community throughout the development process is an integrated part of our ethos and approach to revitalising living environments. By listening to local needs and aspirations, we deliver homes that are accessible for all, providing stable and sustainable environments in which individuals and communities can develop and proper.
