We are committed to working with emergency services authorities and agencies to achieve sustainable improvements in community safety.
We recognise that our partners work to prevent emergency incidents, injuries and fatalities as well as respond to emergencies in a timely and effective manner. To enhance the preparation of the emergency services for the current challenges faced throughout our communities, we are committed to working with local Fire, Ambulance and Police Authorities to deliver accommodation and related services that support and enhance their operational response capability.
Ensuring the safety and health of our communities in emergency situations calls for a systematic and holistic approach to service delivery. We understand the way in which emergency services operate and are committed to providing accommodation and related services that fit
in and around the requirements of local community risk management plans.
Through the provision of flexible and adaptable accommodation, we facilitate the deployment of resources to achieve maximum effectiveness and efficiency, allowing our partners to provide a more modern and proactive community safety service. If required, our property development service will assist with maximising the use of estate and assets to generate community safety planning benefits long-term.
To achieve this, we are committed to working proactively, and in partnership, with emergency services authorities and agencies to deliver service improvements and, where possible, to facilitate the delivery of preventive strategies for reducing emergency incidents and mitigating the risks members of our communities face in their domestic, social and working environments.
