Morgan Sindall Investments is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Morgan Sindall Group. Our primary purpose is to support the Morgan Sindall group companies to finance and deliver complex infrastructure opportunities.

 

Since we were established in 2000 we have we have helped to finance, deliver and manage over £2 billion of projects in the UK across a broad range of sectors including, health, education, roads and housing. This has been achieved through a variety of PPP and other long term partnership models including Priority Schools, Building Schools for the Future, NHS Lift and Scottish NPD.

In 2020 the delivery of Morgan Sindall Investments’ operational local authority joint ventures was transferred to our sister companies Lovell Partnerships (Hertfordshire and West Sussex) and MUSE (Slough, Bournemouth and Brentwood).  

Our future housing partnerships and joint venture investments will be delivered through Lovell.

The Morgan Sindall Investments team continues to provide support to the Group on new infrastructure investment opportunities and will also continue to lead on the following joint ventures and PPP investments.

Hub West Scotland Limited

Established in 2012 Hub West Scotland is a joint-venture organisation which is owned in partnership with the public sector. We currently work with 18 public bodies in the Greater Glasgow and Clyde area, known as the West Territory.

We work in partnership to design and construct facilities which provide services to the local communities such as: schools, health centres; leisure centres and offices.

Claymore Roads Limited A92 – Dundee to Arbroath

£53 million 30-year PFI agreement with Angus Council to design, build, finance and operate the dualling of the A92 between Dundee and Arbroath on the east coast of Scotland. The concession is delivered through Claymore Roads Limited a joint venture with InfraRed Capital Partners.

The Oxleas Property Partnership

The Oxleas NHS Property Partnership is a joint venture between the Health Innovation Partners (Morgan Sindall Investments and Arcadis) set up to help Oxleas NHS prioritise the development of land it owns to support the delivery of healthcare in South East London.

Morgan Vinci Limited – Newport South Distributor Road

£45 million PFI agreement with Newport City Council to design, construct, finance and operate the Newport Southern Distributor Road. This project which is led jointly by Morgan Sindall and the VINCI, is designed to ease the flow of traffic south of Newport. Along with a 9.3-kilometre bypass road, the mandate called for upgrades to existing roads and the construction of a 195-metre bowstring arch bridge spanning the River Usk.

The Social Housing Investment Partnership

This investment joint venture with the Universities Superannuation Scheme was launched in 2017 to deliver and invest in purpose-built specialist supported housing. MSIL retained a 5% stake and act as asset, property and portfolio manager.

Mary Parsons is the Regeneration and Partnerships Director of Lovell Partnerships.

Mary has over 25 years’ experience in the development, construction and regeneration industry; working across the private, registered provider and consultancy sectors. She has been involved in some of the largest housing-led regeneration programmes in the UK.

Mary is past Chair of the Town & Country Planning Association and Trustee and Chair of MOBIE, an educational charity established by George Clarke to promote innovation in housing. 

Mary is a Member of the University of Cambridge’s Property Board and was one of the Government’s ‘Building Better Building Beautiful’ Commissioners

Richard is a qualified solicitor and an executive director of Morgan Sindall Investments, responsible for leading the capital and investment strategy of the business, focussing on partnerships with institutional investors.
