Working alongside our sister companies, she has a strong track record of delivery under our various platforms including long term joint ventures with the public sector, forward funded and privately financed public procurements and has worked across a number of sectors including education, healthcare and extra care and residential.

 

As well as her key commercial skills, Lisa is well placed to assist in the overseeing of the legal and commercial aspects of our business as a member of the Morgan Sindall Investments’ legal team. Her approach is straightforward, logical and transparent, and she is focussed on the need to find a suitable and sustainable solution for all parties involved in a project. Paul is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building.

Since 2008 Paul has worked with a development company on a number of different partnership schemes.

Since joining SUR Paul has been responsible for the construction management of three residential developments and our latest scheme including 2 Marriott International hotels and 64 apartments in the town centre.

Most recently he was the Chief Operating Officer of HBV, a property development business in the specialist supported housing sector in the UK.

Having joined Morgan Sindall Group in 2017, Rupert completed placements at both the Morgan Sindall Group head office and at the office fit-out business Morgan Lovell. Between these two placements he has assisted with all aspects of finance, including management and financial accounts, and has worked closely with teams across the Group.

Rupert is a qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and holds the CGMA designation.

Andrea also leads in our business’s social value goals by developing our strategy across the business in corporation with the Morgan Sindall Group goals.

Over 20 years in the construction Industry, Darrel has operated mainly in the fields of project management, design management and facilities management.

Qualifications in Architecture, construction health and safety with a detailed knowledge of design and project management, Darrel has a broad understanding of all elements of the design process and a good understanding of the impact of design decisions on the management of buildings throughout their lifetime. He is very experienced in joint ventures and client relationship management for private and public sector organisations.

Darrel’s approach is straightforward and open book with an eye on the detail and de-risking projects from the outset for the entire life span of facilities. He has been part of numerous successful bid wins over his career and was part of the successful bid that secured the Torbay NHS Strategic Estates Partnership and has assisted on other bids since.

Currently, Darrel is the Partnership Manager for the Torbay SEP and also a Senior Development Manager on the Morgan Sindall Later Living platform. Duties include the management of a multimillion-pound portfolio of healthcare developments in partnership with the NHS as well as delivery of a number of Extra Care and Key Worker housing schemes.

David is a Chartered Surveyor with almost 35 years’ experience of development most of which has involved Partnership working with Local Authorities or Public Bodies.

David spent several years with the Homes and Communities Agency (now Homes England) where he was involved with the development of large Sustainable Urban Extensions, during his time with the former HCA he was involved with detailed work on major sites for in excess of 50,000 homes.

David’s current role spans across platforms including Slough Urban Renewal and Brentwood Development Partnerships.

In Slough David was involved from the outset of the North West Quadrant project which has an end investment value of £660m and is a major mixed used scheme. David is also involved with a scheme for two Marriott branded Hotels and 64 apartments in a development of the former Library Site. David’s ability is not just focussed on large schemes; the Slough Small Sites Portfolio has involved the detailed consideration of an approximately 35 brown field sites where 60% of the sites have been developed to provide 107 new homes.

David is responsible for bringing forward the first 3 residential schemes for the newly created Joint Venture with Brentwood Borough Council.

Andy has over 15 years’ development experience, with a strong focus on partnership working and displays excellent skills in project management and team building. He has previously assisted in strategic advisory roles and directing multiple development activities.

Andy is an accomplished General Manager at Morgan Sindall Investments having been responsible since 2016 for delivering its property partnership Slough Urban Renewal (SUR). He has been working alongside the Partnership’s board and wider stakeholders to plan and deliver the overall strategic vision to be a catalyst for change and regenerate the town. He has managed a team that has delivered 18 projects worth over £260m with a further 3 projects under construction including a major mixed-use development with two Marriott International Hotels.

These achievements have resulted in further opportunities including the £660m North West Quadrant project. SUR has also picked up numerous industry awards; most notably ‘Procurer of the Year 2017’ at the International Partnership Awards, RESI Joint Victories winner 2018 and in 2019 featured as a Best Practice Representative in the Parliamentary review. 

Andy is applying his experience to establish the new Brentwood Development Partnership. This property joint venture with Brentwood Council has been created to deliver a programme of developments with a potential £1bn GDV for the benefit of all those who live and work in the town.

Duncan joined Morgan Sindall Investments in 2007 coming with a background in construction, operational management & development background in various sectors, with 17+ years in a lead role in developing for Public Sector Partnerships.

Duncan was instrumental in the successful bid for the Local Asset Backed Vehicle (LABV) in Bournemouth, establishing The Bournemouth Development Company LLP (BDC) and continuing to prove delivery with day to day responsibility as Development Director. Building on being the first LABV, the successes have also delivered the first student accommodation and the first build to rent schemes for Morgan Sindall Investments.

Success has been measured in Bournemouth with the handover of completed buildings in a range of sectors as the regeneration progresses through Bournemouth. An approach to delivery is based on thorough preparation taking schemes from concept through the evaluation, planning, detailed design, procurement, construction, handover and sales phases.

The attention to detail and energy is reflected in his pastimes which include cycling on & off the road, sailing & water sports and restoring his vintage car & boat.

As project lead Marc oversees the programming, design and financial viability of projects, utilising his experience and straightforward approach to manage the professional team through to financial close, and welcomes a true partnering approach with clients and the wider team to ensure they are fully engaged throughout. In addition to project delivery, he has a proven track record of securing sites in challenging areas, often sourcing affordable off-market options.

With almost 15 years’ experience in the Construction Industry, Emma is highly skilled in administrative duties. During her time at MSIL, Emma has taken on a wider role as EA and HR Administrator and manages the administrative function of our business.

Emma provides a high-quality administrative support to the Management Team with effective management of outlook diaries and prioritisation of meetings.  Additionally, Emma takes the lead organising internal and external events and looking for opportunities for team building and enabling staff to network.  Emma also works with the Head of HR to maintain and update records, documents and internal databases.

Emma has excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and co-operatively with colleagues across the Morgan Sindall Group. Emma has accomplished many achievements during her time at Morgan Sindall Investments but the most noteworthy is leading on various fundraising events and challenges to achieve over £40k for our partnership charity.

Emma is also designated as one of two Mental First Aiders for the company, alongside Henry Otti. Together they manage and support our Mental Health awareness commitment, which is aimed at improving mental health and promoting a more open and supportive culture for positive health in the workplace.

Toby joined MSIL in June 2011, shortly after the incorporation of the Bournemouth Development Company and has been working with Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council on this platform ever since. 

Between 2011 and 2015 he led the successful delivery of The Citrus Building, a residential-led mixed use scheme in the town centre.  This was a great advertisement for public-private partnership working, overcoming significant challenges in the aftermath of the financial crisis, bringing new homes to an area dominated by its night-time economy. 

He is currently leading the delivery of 44 apartments at Durley Road, Bournemouth and an employment-led mixed-use scheme in the Lansdowne, Bournemouth, whilst providing support to the wider team on other BDC projects.  To date Bournemouth Development Company has delivered over £70 million of development across 4 projects in the town centre, with a further £12.1 million on site, £150 million due to start on site in 2020 and a further £150 million at pre-planning stage.

Toby is a Chartered Surveyor and has worked in the commercial property sector for the past 25 years.  Prior to joining MSIL, he worked on a number of commercial and mixed-use schemes in Greater London and the Home Counties in both advisory and client-side roles.

With nearly 20 years’ experience in the construction industry, Ric is an experienced Project Manager, effectively coordinating consultants and contractors' designs and maintaining strict design control and monitoring processes.

With a technical background Ric has a unique understanding of not only how buildings are procured, but how they are designed, detailed, packaged and constructed. It is this experience that allows Ric to drive value out of the projects.

Prior to joining Investments, Ric worked for Morgan Sindall Construction, for 3.5 years as a Senior Design Manager, successfully delivering numerous projects.

Ric is experienced in many sectors projects and brings excellent organisational, analytical and communication skills to any project. Attention to detail is a key driver and something that ensures project risks are reduced and eliminated.

Ric works closely with the consultant and contractor teams for any development that he’s involved with. As the only resident admin staff in the Chalkdene office, Hannah gets involved in supporting a wide range of people, taking on an office administrative role as well as working as a PA for Chalkdene’s General Manager, Ben Harrop.

As Hannah’s role continues to evolve, Hannah provides additional support to the London office and the work winning team by co-ordinating, maintaining and managing bid related documentation and templates.

As well as accounting skills, Marta has an understanding of a number of other areas, including joint ventures, commercial and procurement. She is aware of client’ requirements and the need to provide a co-operative approach to the management of financial issues. Marta has a solid background in accounts including managing the following processes: accounts payable and receivable, balance sheet reconciliations and monthly cash flow forecasting with experience in management accounts preparation.

Henry is a qualified member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), has a Postgraduate Degree in Accounting and Financial Management and holds a BSc (Hons) in Financial Economics from the University of Kent at Canterbury.

Since 1998 Lindsay has successfully focused on Public Private Partnerships (PPP) developing and delivering major capital investment programmes. He has a good all-round knowledge of development, excellent project management skills, is highly experienced at managing client & contractor relationships involving multi-disciplinary teams and has sound technical, commercial and financial acumen. 

He joined Morgan Sindall Investments in 2006 leading diverse project teams from inception to contract signature on several PPP including Basildon Sporting Village and Hull Building Schools for the Future. On Hull he became a LEP board director and successfully delivered two further phases of this £400m programme. More recently he has taken project management responsibility for the overall planning, integration and execution of several projects on our Slough Urban Renewal platform working both with our sister construction companies and third-party contractors.

During a career spanning over 20 years, Fabrizio has worked in a variety of roles as consultant, contractor and client, primarily in the residential sector, gaining comprehensive knowledge of the design, construction and post-construction processes. Qualified architect and member of the RIBA, he is recognised as a strong technical leader focussing on energy efficiency and environmental impact mitigation.

Fabrizio was the client-side development and technical leader of the team that successfully achieved planning consent for the award-winning Clapham Park masterplan, the biggest full planning application ever approved in England. He collaborates with the London Energy Transformation Initiative to identify domestic carbon-neutral heating systems that will eventually replace common gas boilers.

Involved in the Chalkdene joint-venture since its inception, Fabrizio initially created operational processes and procedures for the new business, while managing a team of project managers. Now seconded from Lovell Partnerships, he oversees a number of developments within the programme, from initial brief to project completion and aftercare. He oversaw the creation of the Chalkdene housing typologies and now collaborates with designers and cost consultants to upgrade them to zero carbon standards.

With over 17 years’ experience in the construction industry, Reiss is a Building Surveyor trained to RICS standards at Anglia Ruskin University (Essex).

Laurence is the Director of Later Living for Morgan Sindall Investments.  

Laurence brings a wealth of experience having held senior roles at global accountancy firm EY as well as international construction firms and other fast-growth businesses. He brings a strong financial management background to Morgan Sindall Investments as well as corporate strategy and transaction advisory expertise. Most recently he was the Chief Operating Officer of HBV, a property development business in the specialist supported housing sector in the UK.

He is a member of the Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand and holds a Master of Business degree from his native New Zealand.
