Jo has a varied and multi-faceted role.

Jo works closely with the management team and Morgan Sindall Group to ensure that we are meeting our legal and ethical commitments to provide a safe and supported environment for all our employees. This involves reviewing our policies and procedures in collaboration with the experts from within the business and ensuring we have a robust recruitment process to welcome the best talent in to Morgan Sindall Investments regardless of gender, sexual orientation or race.

Jo sits on the working group for our Responsible Business Forum which discusses and embraces group-wide initiatives, such as The People Matter Charter, which provide frameworks for us to monitor and measure the wellbeing of our employees and the people employed by our supply chain.  This includes ensuring we have diverse and talented resource to deliver our projects whilst working with her colleagues to make sure they have the tools and skills to deliver our strategy and are recognised for their contribution, in a fun and engaging environment.

Jo had been working at Morgan Sindall Group for 7 years before she was given the opportunity to broaden my role to include supporting the Investment business. I come from a legal background and have found this helps me appreciate and resolve the employment law challenges that come with this position. Jo also enjoys working closely with her talented peers from around the Morgan Sindall group of companies.

As Investments aligns its resources to our strategic focus; now is the time to look forward, recognise the talent we have and help them to deliver in our partnerships. Jo feels that she is very lucky to work within an open and inclusive team who are professional and fun, and to be a part of that journey.

Jo is also a FIR Ambassador for the company acting as a role model for Fairness, Inclusion and Respect in their offices, sites or projects. This role embodies the principles of FIR to work collaboratively whilst stepping in to challenge non-inclusive behaviour whilst positively impacting workplace culture.
