Doncaster NHS LIFT reaches financial close

Morgan Sindall Investments ("MSIL") is pleased to announce that as part of Community Solutions for Primary Care ("CSPC"), a joint venture between MSIL, Apollo Medical Partners and Barclays European Infrastructure Fund, it has achieved close on the Doncaster NHS LIFT project.

Together with Doncaster's three Primary Care Trusts, Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council and Partnerships for Health, CSPC has formed a public private partnerships company, Doncaster Community solutions (LIFTCo) Limited ("DCS"). DCS has signed a 20 year stategic partnering agreement to build and maintain a network of new health and social care premises in the Doncaster area.

Construction of the first wave of three buildings in Thorne, Denaby and Sandringham Road is due to start in Octover 2005, the first of which is expected to open in Autumn 2006. The anticipated value of construction works is approximately £50 million over the initial five-year period.

This is the fourth LIFT project, in addition to Barnsley NHS LIFT, Camden & Islington NHS LIFT and East Hampshire, Fareham & Gosport NHS LIFT, that CSPC has lead to financial close.
