Landmark £150 million Winter Gardens scheme receives planning permission
Bournemouth Development Company has secured planning permission for the landmark Winter Gardens development in Bournemouth.
The site has a long history in the town but has been under-utilised for many years. The next step in Bournemouth Development Company’s plans for helping to deliver the Council’s Town Centre Vision will secure Winter Gardens’ place as part of the future of the town.
The £150m scheme will be on of the largest residential schemes in Bournemouth. It will not only see the delivery of over 350 new homes but also over 4000 sqm of dedicated leisure space including 1500sqm for up to five units for high-quality restaurants along Exeter Road, and a new 1,000sqm food store. It will also preserve and improve 225 public parking spaces that are currently on the Winter Gardens site.
