Working in partnership means harnessing strengths towards a common purpose

In Slough, we have combined the council’s land and strategic agenda with our own development knowledge and expertise

Together we are delivering iconic infrastructure, providing new community facilities and revitalising the town centre.

Like all our partnerships, Slough started with one project, the Curve, a new public library created in the ‘Heart of Slough’

Its award-winning design has made a significant contribution to civic pride with a new sense of place for Slough. Users are attracted to the intelligently designed, accessible interior and feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. Book loans have increased exponentially and, with a variety of events and activities, opened in 2016, the Curve has established itself as a vibrant community hub.

Delivering improvements to six local schools, increasing capacity and modernising facilities

Over the six projects, 65 new classrooms have been created in addition to new sports halls, study areas and staff accommodation. The schools programme has been a significant contribution to the area, creating more school places and an enhanced educational experience for local children.

Slough Borough Council 800x800px

Slough Urban Renewal has been a game-changer for Slough. The council had land and an ambitious strategic plan but we have greatly benefited from Morgan Sindall Investments’ development expertise and access to private capital. A shared vision and complementary skills have helped us create over £1bn of regeneration value together.
